Charles E. Huff, Jr. is a proud graduate of Spencer High School in Columbus, Georgia. He graduated from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina with a bachelors of science in biology and physical education. He then completed his studies at Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science where he earned a mortuary science degree.
After graduating from Gupton Jones, Charles took his rightful place by his father’s side in the family business. He worked with is father day and night-learning the trade but more importantly mastering his father’s work ethic and continuing the legacy. Charles is married to the multi-talented Lula Lunsford Huff, and they have one daughter, Dr. Tamara Huff.

Upon graduating from Hardaway High School in 1975 and Florida State University in 1980, Bruce H. Huff worked in the family business with his father and older brother as an apprentice for two years. He saw the need to help families with their insurance needs. From this passion to help those in need, he became a licensed insurance agent. Bruce started his career with Georgia International Life Insurance Company (Steele Agency 1982-1984) and went on to work for Mutual Trust Life (Damiani and Associates 1984-1985) and Life Insurance Company of Georgia (Damiani and Associates 1985-1987).
With a desire to be more accessible through flexible scheduling, Huff Insurance Service was created in 1987. Serving the needs of all his clients was his goal. After working with TSYS for two years and the passing of his father, Charles E. Huff, Sr. in 1992, Bruce moved his Insurance Brokerage Company into the funeral home. This move allowed him to be closer to his older brother Charles E. Huff, Jr. and to work more efficiently with his clients. In 1995, Bruce attended Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1996. He is proudly working side by side with Charles and preserving the legacy of the funeral home. Bruce is married to Charonda Huff and they have two sons, Anthony and Bruce Jr.
A steward in the Columbus community, Bruce H. Huff is a faithful member of St. James AME Church where he serves on the Trustee Board. His passion for serving is reflected through his roles as advisor for Columbus State University’s Teen Achievers Program, Male Usher Board and the Sally Little League where he served as president (2005-2009).
As a graduate of “Leadership Columbus”, a member of the Delta Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and a member of Prince Hall F&AM, Electric City Lodge No. 322, Bruce has been given the opportunity to provide a voice for those in Columbus. His enthusiastic involvement in the Florida State Alumni Association, Georgia Funeral Service Practitioner Association, Inc., Florida State University Lettermen Club, Georgia Academy of Embalmers and Florida State University Varsity Club have afforded Bruce the ability to be accessible; staying within reach and remaining in touch with those in the community and the surrounding areas.
Bruce was recognized in 2009 as the Mortician of the Year, 3rd District, Georgia Funeral Service Practitioner Association, Inc. and received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by Congressman Sanford Bishop in recognition of outstanding achievement, service and public distinction as well as House Resolution 1023, presented by House of Representatives: Hugley of 133rd, Buckner of the 130th and Smyre of the 132nd.

Antron Murray was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Annie Murray. Antron is a graduate of Kendrick High School class of 1998. After high school, he attended Valdosta State University before transferring to Columbus State University where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. He continued his post graduate education by obtaining a Master’s in Middle Grades Education and a Specialist in Educational Leadership.
While pursuing his bachelor’s degree, Antron worked for the Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Correctional Officer from 1999 to 2009. In 2009, he join the Columbus Police Department until 2011 when he joined the Muscogee County School District. Antron enjoys teaching, mentoring, and coaching students.
Antron is married to Veronica L. Murray, and they have four children. He is a member of Forrest Park Baptist Church. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Prince Hall Masons F&AM, Electric City Lodge No. 322.
Antron began working at Charles E. Huff International Funeral Home in 2012. “It is a honor to work with Charles and Bruce Huff. Charles and Bruce serve the city of Columbus and the surrounding area with great pride and integrity. They care about the families they serve, and their community beyond measure. I found these attributes to be true as they served my family during the passing of my father in 2009.”
